====== Licensing ======

When Geometry Manager is started it is possible that no valid license is found.

The necessary license file can be loaded from the IG.Creator. After opening in the browser there is a button "ig License" to download the personal user license, prerequisite is a previous successful login with the IG.Creator username and password.

After downloading the license in the form of a ZIP file, this file should be unpacked, preferably in parallel with the download folder.

Use the **Add license** button in the middle of the start page to import the downloaded license. Select the file with the extension **.iglic**.

The Geometry Manager copies the file to the required location.

**Note**

If the computer has an environment variable **IG_GFX_LICENSE**, the Geometry Manager can use the license file from this information. A dialog will pop up that can accept the license with **Yes**.

If all okay, the Geometry Manager will now shows an license granted statement and the start button is available again.
