Mostly, an existing XcalibuR catalog is available before the 3D data should be created for this catalog. And typically, the choice properties in this catalog, so-called Select Options, provide images for their values. Using this IG.Creator page, you may import those images from the relevant options, i.g. options that control materials, and create Materials and Textures. This may be useful to start a 3D modelling project and for mockups, but later on the images should be replaced by maps with higher resolution and repeatability. But even then it is useful to call this initially as a lot of formal work (creating a Material, creating a Texture, linking the Texture to the Material, creating a File for the Texture, etc.) can be done very easily. The options you need to setup are: * Product - An id that references an XcR product from which the options should be red. In XcR, typically options are shared among all products of a Model. * Option - The id of a--material-controlling-option that should be processed. * Shiny Materials - Optionally, one or more prefixes that apply to shiny materials. Shiny materials will get a medium specular value, while non-shiny materials get no specularity at all. * Nested Source Ids - In case of hierarchical select options, this flag controls, if the full path should be created as material/texture name or just the last part of the path. If the last part is **not** unique but refers to the upper level, you should checkmark this flag. * Material Name: The generic name for the materials. Placeholder 0 is required and will be used for the option value id. Placeholder 1 is optional and will be used for the option id. * Texture Name: The generic name for the textures. Placeholder 0 is required and will be used for the option value id. Placeholder 1 is optional and will be used for the option id. * Size: The size of the image to be created, should be power of two. * Preview: If enabled, a Material Preview image will be created.
