Asset

Assets are entities shared among, and used to describe Products. Assets can be Geometries, Textures, Materials, Layers, Categories, etc.

Clone DB

A Clone DB is the tertiary database from which content will be mirrored to your Project DB from time to time. You can use multiple Clone DBs for specific aspects (Geometries, Textures, etc.)

Master Product

A Product with the Product Id _Master is a pseudo product, that may be created to reduce the mapping efforts in page Products/Commercial. The property mappings defined for the Master Product will be inherited by all Products.

Native Id

The Native ID is an advanced identification for a Product used in the commercial system/service. For instance, in case of XcalibuR the Native ID is a Guid. As Native IDs are hard to handle for humans, the primary Product IDs used in the IG.Creator typically differ from the Native IDs. Some operations expect a Native ID but use the Product ID as fallback.

Product

A Product is an entity from the commercial system/service and is a key entity used in the IG.Creator. Thus the purpose of the IG.Creator is to create graphics (3 D, 2.5 D Front/Top) for Products imported from commercial systems/services.

Project DB

The Project DB is the primary database containing your project. Access to the Project DB can be read-write (typical) or read-only.

SimpleCom

SimpleCom is a simple commercial data format that contains the minimal commercial information that is needed to setup/map graphical representations. Additionally it may define mappings Properties-to-Products and Values-to-Properties.

Support DB

The Support DB is the secondary database supporting your project. Access to the Support DB is always read-only.
