In this Page you enter the settings for external resources. The Page has two sub screens:
In this area you may specify the settings for the Support DB. On default, IG.Std is the selected Support DB. But you may use an own Support DB.
Also, you may enter the settings for the Configuration Server, if requested. On default, SimpleCom is the choosen Configurator.
Enter the corresponding credentials to connect the Support DB. Please specify the Server Address without any http(s) prefix. If the DB server hosting the Support DB is running on the same machine as the IG.Creator, you may enter localhost rather than an IP or host name.
Select one of the available configurator types:
For any type, except for SimpleCom, enter the service URL, without any http(s) prefix. In case EAIWS is your configuration server, also specify a Startup file (if needed).
In the case of XcalibuR services, the Edit Mode must be activated to access unpublished catalogs.
Depending on the specific Project, it may be helpful to hide dialogs for entities, e.g. Assets, that are not in use. This will be stored in the database and can be changed any time later on.
You may use a Commercial Context in your data. To enable this, select on of the following Modes:
In any of these cases, specify a fully-scoped Context Type such IGX.Basic.Context.
If you however select No Context, no Context is created and exported.
In the merge mode (Script + Table) the Context you provide in the script must be the Context Type plus an additional Base. For example, if you specify XXX.YYY.Context then the generated Context XXX.YYY.Context will be derived from script-based Context XXX.YYY.BaseContext.
The option Editable controls if the Commercial Data on Asset Level and the Products in page Products are editable, or not.
The visualization back end, used for real-time rendering in the 3D context, e.g. in Configurator, Planner and preview creation, can be chosen here. We recommend to use the ThreeJS back end.
