BREAKING CHANGES

Licensing

As of version 1.2.102, Geometry Manager requires a valid IG license. All information about this topic can be found in the chapter Licensing.

New project structure

Version 1.2 includes adjustments to the structure of project information and manager JSON files. This makes it urgent to delete all older projects and their JSON files and to create the projects anew.

NO GEOMETRIES OR OTHER FILES NEED TO BE DELETED, ONLY THE FOLLOWING FILES IN THE GEOMETRIES SUBFOLDERS OF THE PROJECTS:

• manager.json
• manager.json.md5
• products.json

There is also a command line tool available called “Project Cleanup”, download and usage can be found at the project page.

AFTER THAT, please reset the project list with the help of the button “Reset projects” from the start screen of the GeometryManager.

Changes

• All: all pages redesigned to separate general tasks and contextual tasks from each other
• All: all pages redesigned to keep tasks the same (same layout style for all pages)
• All: removed unnecessary functions to simplify the program
• Projects: redesign and process adjustments, new format

Known issues

• (MACOS): PDF report generation fails, needs testing with 1.2.RC1
