The product page is the first page when logged in to a specific sub-domain, there are multiple sub-domains stored into the creator having multiple products.

A Product is the central component inside the IG.Creator. A Product comes from the Commercial Assets and will be enriched with Graphics in this section of the tool. In order to create Graphics the following pages are available:

Most of the pages and their subpages require a Selected Product. Selection can be done on this page, or in Commercial Assets. If a page requires a selected product and there's no product selected, there will be an automatic redirect to this page.

The product page looks like this and has several options to work with.

While creating a Product, certain options need to be fulfilled as follows.

• Product: A product name must be given to the new product having no spaces, any other case can be used.Also, there is a special Master Product that is used for holding properties, which will be inherited by all other products.

• State: There are 12 states in which a product can be labeled. The State should help the user to see what is the current state of the Products. For instance, if articles have been changed to the commercial side or not.
  • Sales Product: It helps to inherit the structure of a corresponding Master product. Keep in mind this corresponding Master product is not the Master mentioned above.
  • Com Changed: It shows that the commercial data is being changed (new import in commercial data).

• Preview: This checkbox indicates if a Product has a preview image or not. It it is checked, the preview can be opend inside the right click menu, explained below.

• Description UL: The description of the product can be written in this section.

• Comment UL: The comment can be anything that is useful to the other users as well as to the creator. Usually it is empty or holds the author of the uploaded product from the IG.GFX.Factory.

• New: The new option helps to create a new product then continuing with adding Properties, Geometries, and Graphics to it. If the option is not available you can make it available for the sub-domain in the Settings.

• Edit, Delete: The Product can be edited and deleted at any time. The editing in the name, state, description, or comment can be done. If any of the options are not available, you can make them available from Settings.

You can also quickly make the changes to any Product by just right-clicking on any Product and a pop-up window will help you select many options. Most of these options are explained above.

• Graphical: Jump to the IG.Creator Graphical page located under Producs/Graphical.
• Configurator: Jump to the IG.Creator Configurator page located under Products/Graphical/Configurator.

• Clear Content: The data is wiped clean and changes the state to Empty.

Once any of the products is selected, click on the configurator, you will be directed to another page where the product can be seen and configured.

Used to change the state of all the products altogether. Select Ready for Release to publish the data commercially.

The product can be renamed via this option, the name must not contain any spaces.

Any product can be selected depending on its state or all of the products can be selected using selection.

For exporting the Products information,9 different extensions can be used as per the requirement.

• Export to Archetypes: It creates a list of the articles with description, native ID & archetype. So there is no need of writing it manually for all the articles.

• Export to ICOM: It creates a list of the articles with schema, catalog name, description and gives all the properties used.

• Export to IG.COM: It helps you create a detailed list of the articles with the format type, product name, native ID, properties including all the materials used.

• Export to IGXD: It creates a list of the paths for all the geometries which are being used.

• Export to PhotoCreator: It creates a list of details of cameras, width, height, environment, state & scope for the articles.

• Export to CSV: A list of products can be exported with the relevant description into a Comma-separated value.

• Export to PDF: All the information of the products like Product name, description, state, preview and comments can be exported in portable document format.

• Export to XLS: A list of products can be exported for PC or MAC with all the relevant information into a Microsoft Excel file format.

• Export to XLSX: A list of products can be exported with all the relevant information into a Microsoft Excel file format.
